Lee FW26 Winter Collection: Icons Reloaded
This winter, Lee proves that true icons never stand still. The FW26 Winter Collection takes three legendary jackets — the 101J Rider Jacket, 91J Chore Jacket, and 91B Jacket — reimagining them for cold weather with a modern edge. Familiar details take on new forms. Available across two themes, Puffer Icons and Wool Icons, designed for both men and women, this collection is about evolution, not repetition. Lee strengthens its foundations, keeps its icons alive, and leads denim into what comes next.
Puffer Icons: Inspired by Legends
Three iconic Lee jackets provide the creative spark for a range of winter-ready pieces. The products don't look exactly like the originals — they transform them. A classic silhouette might become a puffed vest or a down jacket. A familiar shape gains new proportions, but the signature details remain.
Take the 101J Rider Jacket, first introduced in 1948. Its defining features, button-down flaps, slanted chest pockets with rounded flaps, tailored sleeves and adjustable waist straps, have inspired new interpretations across the collection. For men, the 101J Rider Jacket is reimagined as a contemporary down jacket, retaining the essence of the original while introducing a modern padded silhouette.
The 91J Jacket, dating back to 1925, brought a roomy, straight-cut silhouette with four patch pockets, gusseted sleeves, and triple stitching. Those utilitarian details now appear on new warming
The 91B Jacket, a 1940 icon known for its clean zip-front design, angled patch pockets, slanted zippered chest pocket, and adjustable waist tabs, serves as inspiration for the women's puffer vest or men’s denim down jacket, retaining those signature pocket details while transforming the overall silhouette.
Across both men's and women's collections, these iconic design cues, the slanted zipper, the flap pockets, the adjustable tabs, remain instantly recognizable, even as the garments themselves take new forms.
Wool Icons: Warmth Through Innovation
The Wool Icons collection introduces two fabric innovations that bring warmth without sacrificing the look and feel of authentic denim.
First, a new Authentic Wool fabric that looks exactly like denim, able to take on heavy washes and treatments while containing real wool for insulation. It carries all the characters of traditional denim with the added warmth of wool.
Second, an innovative fabric construction technology that creates air pockets to trap body heat while still allowing moisture to escape. Together, these elements keep wearers warm without weight, comfortable without overheating. The fabric features a brushed inner layer for softness, a traditional denim exterior that maintains Lee's signature look, and a breathable design that keeps the wearer dry. Applied across jackets, jeans, and other outerwear, it delivers the warmth of wool with the character of denim.
